The room was better than advertised, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a pure treat...mostly Asian, of course, but there was eggs and toast and oj and stuff available, too.   The staff were very helpful and showed flexiubility. This is my 5th time at this hotel and its very consistent. The location is superb for both business, shopping and sightseeing. The taxi guide is very helpful as you can just show your location to the driver. And also show him the hotel address for the return. - I've been staying here for 12 yea... wat mensen zeggen » rs and it's my favourite hotel in shanghai. I'm sure there are more luxurious but this is in a great area for eating and drinking. Rooms are big and clean and they are generous with upgrades. Just don't ever expect them to remember you've been before!
