  Shi Lin from the hotel's 'Beijing Daily Tours' was incredibly helpful both organising tours and even just helping out with questions I had about the city and writing down names of places in Chinese for me. The room was secure and had a good shower. - loved the location of the close proximity of all Sightseeings. You can walk all around.

  The staff were very helpful and very eager to help. They also spoke good English. The hostel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Free food was provided for 2 nights that I stopped there which is also a bonus. Staying there for several nights, the feeling are really nice. The staff, owner Bobby and his girls, are very very helpfull and friendly. They treat us just like real friends.   Extremely friendly and helpful staff, having a 24h reception is very convenient for late check-ins and early check-outs. Location is within walking distance to Dong Si train station, which is just stops away from key attractions such as Tian An Men, Forbidden Palace, WangFuJing street etc. I would highly recommend a visit to NanLuoGuXiang - a beau... wat mensen zeggen » tiful place with lots to see, eat and buy. By the way, the hostel serves a good cup of Mocha! Overall, Happy Dragon Hostel is value for money for budg - Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out. The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

  We stayed in a double room with Ensuite. The room was spacious, the bed large and the bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. Decoration was to a high standard and the hostel was very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices at the bar. Extremely close to the metro - though it is still hard to find - left from exit d ... wat mensen zeggen » and turn all the way around, it has a uhotel sign. Decent wifi - It is just next to the Dongxi Station exit for line 5 & line 6. A supermarket nearby, and walk a bit to the lane, you can find some nice restaurant to have cheap local Beijing Food. Safe even I was back from HuTong around 11.30pm. Staff are nice to offer help, as I was depart on a rainy day, with materials I have to protect for client meeting. They offered me a big plastic bag to protect my stuff.
