  This was the best place we stayed in china! The staff were great! We swapped emails and I will defiantly be retuning just to stay here and see my new friend!   The location was excellent. In the middle of the Hutong. We stayed in a traditional room which was very spacious. We also rented bicycles at the hotel, which made it very easy to visit the sights in Beijing. The bicycle was a good idea. We were dropped almost in the hall of the hotel. Also we booked a Great Wall - Very nice hotel with traditional Chinese decor! For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel. They were also very helpful in providing us with "local knowledge" of where to go have fun, have good food etc etc. The room itself was huge.
