  We were received by the owner of the hotel. He is very kind and give us all the info to visit and eat in Baie St .Paul. The room was really clean and the bad are big and confortable. - Very friendly receptionist. Stayed late so we could check in on time.   Our Days Inn experience was very positive. We stayed one night while dropping off our daughter at the University. The location was close to restaurants and the University. We did not have time to stay and explore this trip but are planning to do that when we return mid June.   I find all hotel prices excessive for what amounts to a 12 hour stay. There is a current effort to recover the Grand Prix for Montreal. The news reports have it that the city gets $100's of millions for the week with hoteliers getting $500 per night.   I recently stayed here for 1 week while attending a conference. The hotel was an amazing place to stay that is within walking distance to shops, conference centre, metro and old Montreal. I have never come across such helpful, thoughtful and kind staff anywhere else in the world (I lost my passport) The room I had was modern and spotless, the bed ... wat mensen zeggen » was comfortable, air con worked a treat. There was a bit of street noise on Friday and Saturday night but my 3 colleagues who had other rooms said the - Main guy in reception was very knowledgeable about the city, where to go and what to do. Room was perfect for what we wanted, we only found out when we were checking out that we were put in a room they usually give to single travellers but it was more than ample for us.

We stayed at the Suite for 149 per night which we thought was worth the price because the room was very large and clean, with modern clean bathroom, and microwave and fridge kitchenette unit complete with dishes, utensils, wine glasses. It is also a 15 minute walking distanc - Really well located, close to a lot of good restaurants (in the quartier latin), more economic ones (in the quartier chinois), bars/night life (mainly gay, in the village), to theaters, museums and other cultural activities (in the quartier des spectacles), shopping (st catherine street, not much), many tourism points (old montreal and downtown tourist points are all in a walking distance) and public transportation (all metro lines are in a walking distance and the bus stop to/from the airport

  Jean Francois was an amazing host - told us about authentic Quebecois sites. Wish I was just a tourist and had more time - definitely coming back! - Rooms were very nice. Very clean. JeanFrancois very helpful in recommending restaurants.

  The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were contemporary, cleanand with everything you need. The bathrooms were fantastic. Location isamazing very near to old town and chateau frontenac, lots of nicerestaurants nearby. - The location is wonderful. You can walk out the door and every thing is within a five minute walk.
