  Friendly service, the manager is helpful and gives good tips on the region. The hostel is clean, the kitchen is huge and very well-equipped. A couple of little attentions are really appreciated, especially in a hostel (free Kraft dinners are available to accommodate guests arriving late, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms…) - Good location, upgrad... wat mensen zeggen » ed kitchen facilities, ensuite bathrooms.   friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - excellent customer service! - interested in their customers needs and opinions; very clean, good room setup, kitchen, fresh air!!!, secure parking, laundry room, even the floor -warm - I liked the fact the rooms had ammendies not often found in hotels.   My 83 year old mother and I were in Banff for my cousin's wedding at the Fairmont Hotel. We could not afford to stay at the Fairmont (even with a discounted room at $250 a night) and the y Mountain Lodge proved to be an excellent, economical choice for us. We came all the way from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia for the weekend (yeah, I know that is a c... wat mensen zeggen » razy distance to travel for just the weekend, lol) and we were extremely pleased with the service along with the helpful and friendly staff! We would - Staff is very friendly. Great view out of the room window. Quiet place away from downtown.We could store our luggage on the check-out day. Complimentary internet. Free simple breakfast. Best value in town. Communal kitchen available.
