  Older motel, recently updated. Manager very friendly and an excellent host. First room he gave us had a plugged bathroom sink, he immediately moved us to another similar room, and had the first one fixed that same afternoon. - Loved having two separate bedrooms.   We liked that the motel was very "quaint" and an overall good value for our money. Having access to a small fridge was very helpful to have fresh fruit and other snacks on hand. The rooms were clean and the staff were HIGHLY accomodating and friendly. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. and although they had not received my email request for an early check... wat mensen zeggen » -in they very happily cleaned a room for us rather quickly. The owner on several occasions came by to either say hello and ensure we had everything w - I loved the laminate floors, and the room was very clean and soundproof as I have a hearing problem and checked with my neighbours to make sure they could not hear the TV and they could not. .The fact that the lake was across the road and a variety of restaurants close by, make it special. The owner is amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and made me feel right at home.

  We booked the kitchen suite which worked perfectly for our family of six. While we only stayed one night, we were very happy with the room. It held all of us nicely. My 6ft son was a bit big for the hide a bed but other than that, we were comfortable. The price was great for us as well. I was a bit concerned when we got back to our room as there w... wat mensen zeggen » ere a group of noisy party goers but once in our room, we couldn't hear them. All in all, we would def stay here again. - It was good value for what we paid! There was even a pool and bbqs (we didn't use them, but they were there and well-maintained). The location was perfect, easy access to everything, and there was even a Tim Horton's across the street. We were grateful to walk into an already air-conditioned room at the hottest part of the day, too!
