I loved everything about the hotel; the decor in the public areas was nice, and the rooms were just gorgeous, with big bathroom, lovely walk-in shower; bed was really comfortable, there was plenty of desk space; the internet was faast and free; and breakfast was veyr good too. This is a great place to stay and I will definitely be coming back. Everything is nicely informal, and the Rex staff are lovely (You have to go to the bar to check in). I love loved the location! Its within walking distance to Dundas Square (about 15 mins). There is also a train stay about 2 min walk from the hotel. There are also numerous train cars. There are also jazz shows on most nights. Its a great place to stay. There's also a free breakfast of toast and tea or coffee.

Hotel looks great: large bedroom and bathroom, quick check in and check out, incredibly friendly and professional staff, great coffee machine at the lobby, good breakfast, very good shower (no bath, what I really appreciate), location, good selection of TV channels, available beverages and food choices in the room… It’s definitely a very good choice.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends this past weekend. I could not believe the facilities at the value of this hotel. I have stayed in many major hotels all around toronto, this one blew them out of the water. You are close to a lot of restaurants and the location is right downtown. This place is more stunning than the pictures had depicted it to be and I would refer it to anyone.
