We really enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast. Rebecca the host, was very helpful and friendly and let us look at all the other rooms in the building. Rebecca also made an excellent breakfast and catered to my vegetarian needs. We stayed in the Ben Rogers Room and found it to be very comfortable and clean. We really loved the ambiance, furniture and historic nature of this place. It was close to all that Charlottetown could offer us in Winter. We would definitely stay here again!.
alle beoordelingen » I felt like I was "coming home" every time we walked in the front door. Except i don't drink our of wine glasses or eat little squares of chocolate at our house. Everyone chatted, even one owner I met outisde, breakfast was excellent, service was gracious!. Beautiful Inn in a great location. Friendly staff made us feel at home and gave great advice on dining and the sites. Loved the Inn so much we extended our stay from 3 to 7 days. Can't wait to return. It was a most pleasurable stay. The innkeeper was most accommodating and friendly and knows the area. The Inn is well appointed and kept up. Location is very good for sightseeing. This was our fourth stay at the Fairholm. It is the most beautiful, wonderful, relaxing place in the world. It truly feels like home. Nice staff; good location - can walk to downtown water front. Comfortable room on the first floor as requested; nice breakfast. A lovely inn. Wonderful staff, especially Rebecca, Innkeeper and Nancy. Well appointed bedrooms with much character. Historic factors and location. The only problem we had at this place was that the bath tub did not drain properly, however the tub was cleaned for us everyday which made it easier to handle. Noticed there was no outside place to seat and read and feel the PEI breeze. But know work is being done outside so maybe next time... I just do not understand why beautiful 1800's buildings do not have elevators. ;). Nothing to not like!. Nothing. Street noise. Sticky door. Bed was hard. It was all good. distance from Florida!. Not luxurious at that pricepoint. We expected more pampering in towels and amenities. We would not return or recommend. We wondered about five star status. No valet service?. The ad was misleading as it said there was a fireplace, but it was a wood fireplace that could not be used. The room was hot and dry.
