  New, spotless, very comfortable, very close to bus depot. Enough english spoken for a few questions to be answered. Close to city center and one food store. It was excellent - Staff are friendly and helpful, when I asked about the bus schedule to Rila, he helped me to search on web and advised!

The Hotel Cheap is about 50 meters away in the direction away from the station on a small street. The hotel is clean and is good value.   We had a large private room which was nice. There is a big kitchen at your disposal. All looks quite clean and new. Air conditioning was nice in the hot summer. The hostel has a good location between the bus/train station and the main downtown area. - I was pleasantly surprised how nice my stay at The Danish Hostel was.   This is a nice place to stay. Free and fast Wifi. Walking distance to the centre. Mall of Sofia 10 minute walk. Supermarkets and restaurants a short walk. Load of laundry is 3 euro. Private parking in the next street for 5 euro per day. There is no free public parking. Big clean room but tiny bathroom. Gery who lives at Hotel Sofia Guesthouse speaks some English and she made coffee and tea for us each morning. She washed our clothes too (3 euros a load ).   It was my first stay in Sofia and I booked this hotel because of the economic rate. They obviously gave me the biggest room available. The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. You can book a kind of standard breakfast for 3 Euros. They even adjusted my breakfast according to my preferences.
