Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. Amazing views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer statue on
Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for
best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom!
Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean,
quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is
excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

I was upgraded to an ocean view room.
The room was very comfortable and quiet with a magnificent view - as had the gym and the breakfast terrace. Breakfast was excellent, as would be expected for a hotel of its level. Your front desk staff, Renato, who works the night shift. He was genuine
and sincere of our needs and surprised us with champagne when he found
out it was our 20 years wedding anniversary.
We remember him out of the many hotels we visited to four countries in our first South America trip.

Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

The staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. As dated as the decor was it was nice to have a spa bath and a sauna in the room. There are ongoing renovations at the hotel and it should be much nicer within 6 months. -

usd. It was a old love hotel, and being remodeled now. Rooms are so
tiny you cannot pass your partner standing, one person has to sit on
the bed. Everything is very, very old. We only had to stay one night
as we were connecting from one city to another. Staff was helpful and
friendly, room was moderate clean, just real old. Air conditioning

Perfect location, you can go everywhere easily, lots of restaurants,
pubs, supermarkets, banks and pharmacies close-by. The beach is 3 blocks
away and so is the lagoon. You can rent a bike in the hostel. Great
staff. Nice breakfast. Amazing people from all around the world. I

We were upgraded on arrival to a sea view room which was absolutely
fabulous. The room was ultra comfortable and the bathroom very large.
The hotel had the luxurious feel you would expect from this standard
with nice furniture and carpets in public areas. The pool area had
plenty of sunbeds and nice white towels and a champagne bar in the
corner.

Me and my wife celebrated our 10th anniversary in Rio, and we booked 2 beds turns out that the whole room was full. But the receptionist Aiste was so kind.. she organized for us to have a 6 bed room all to our selves.
