The owner is very warm and helpful. Paraty is very interesting and atmospheric.   The staff was incredibly helpful, setting up a waterfall tour for us on the spot. They were also able to check us in early and allowed a late checkout, which was fantastic for our rather hectic travel schedule.   The hotel is literally a stone's throw from Paraty Bus Station. A 3 min walk from the Historic Centre. Though the staff spoke very little English, they certainly possessed a customer-friendly mindset throughout. A good breakfast spread although the options for Eggs are limited. Strangely, the bar rates/prices seem very economical as well. - My stay at Pousada do Principe in Paraty was very good. Reception and all the people working there where so very kind and helpful. Breakfast was everyday perfect. Room was great and the pool as fantastic. The Pousada is located in the center of Paraty, very close to the busstation. Thank you very much for a very nice stay.

  This place is fantastic! We have travelled in Brazil a lot and this is the nicest place we have ever been. It is the perfect environment to relax, chill out and have a laid back time. The owner is generous, very friendly and spoils his guests wherever he can. He even offered to make fried eggs and crepes for us for breakfast. We loved to watch the cats, monkeys and birds - The Pousada was very well designed, you can see that the owners and the team pay a huge attention to the needs of their guests and also to the conditions of their property and facilities. They all were so friendly and even helping us to find a nice place on our way along the Costa Verde. They serve real good breakfast, have a nice garden and the rooms are equipped with all you need. But the biggest WOW-effect was to see that they focus 100% on the well-being of their guests, without any stress.

  I would highly recommend staying at this pousada. The staff here were wonderful! The room was comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. The restaurant downstairs has live music at night, but it wasn't too loud, and was actually quite pleasant. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts abundant and delicious.
