  Was great to have English speaking receptionists and that they understood straight away any issues we had..which were only a couple. The beds were really comfortable (which I knew the make, could do with one at home) Breakfast was the 'bees knees' excellent setup for the day ahead. The porters were always willing to help and they always had a smil... wat mensen zeggen » e for you. Our room was large and had air con and TV. and fridge. I really would recommend this hotel to anyone who has the chance to visit lovely Rio - We were just 5 minutes walk from the Copacabana beach, also near to Sugar Loaf, a lot of taxis to get anywhere in Rio. Even in the morning rush hour the transfer to the airport took only some 20 minutes. We had a very big and comfortable room with two(!) TV screens, one big table to sit around and to eat, and a smaller one with ratan "sofa" to enjoy e.g. a coffee or drink, i. e. very unusual and luxury for that price! Helpful staff at the reception, with bell-boy. Very good breakfast. Very good

  Excellent value; the presidential suite was really nice. I loved the stylish, fairly modern but comfortable style of decoration. The bathroom with jacuzzi/sauna was top-notch and the bedroom was perfect.

  Fantastic hotel and close to Copacabana beach and other attractions. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was really good too and the room was nice and the bathroom was great also. Nice pool at the top of the hotel too and view. - It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Pricewise good. Also ... wat mensen zeggen » were able to exchange money for us, which you may expect , but to us it was helpful. Minibar wasn't a rip off unlike many other hotels we'ver stayed in.I Would stay there again.

  - Rooms were quite basic but clean and well cared. - The rooftop and pool didn't look so great on the hotel's pictures but they actually are super nice!!! The view from the rooftop is beautiful (view on the beach and Corcovado's Statue) and the pool is just perfect when the temperatures are high. - Breakfast buffet was good overall (not excellent... wat mensen zeggen » but good for the value) - Free wi-fi - Helpful staff at the front desk speaking english - The location was really convenient (1 min walking from the - We couldn't fault our stay here. The rooms were lovely and they even upgraded us from a standard to a superior suite. The roof top pool was a little oasis in the middle of rio and had fantastic views over the ocean. Staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect for anyone wishing to stay at copacobana- right behind the copacobana palace (nicest hotel in rio) but for 1/2 the price. Highly recommend.

  Dont let the reviews fool you, this is actually one of the better hotels in Copacabana for the price! We stayed in several 4 star (expensive) hotels that were not any better!!! - I was on the suite azul was so nice the room was big enought and the privat piscine was just perfect with the weather of rio ! Ill get back for my next trip ;)

Our room (number 404) was refurbished recently; the sea view was gorgeous; the breakfast very good. The pool area is lovely but they should put more lounges, it was only few and not enough for everyone so if you wanna sunbath you better get there early. Rooms very well desingned and big with a gorgeous view to the sea.

  Professionalism of staff-English speaking staff at front desk 24 hours daily during our stay-Dec.18-21,2013. My wife suddenly became ill during the middle of the night and the staff directed us to a 24 hour clinic only two blocks away with an English speaking Doctor leaving us very satisfied with the service provided by the hotel and the clinic. -... wat mensen zeggen » The reception staff spoke English and were very helpul in advising and assisting with tours, bookings of taxis and general advice. The room staff were very efficient and the restaurant was great with both breakfasts, and al a carte meals for dinner. The location, one street back from the beach at Copacobana was excellent.

Uitzicht op Jezusbeeld. 5 minuten lopen van strand. vlak tegenover metrostation. goed ontbijt. - Uitstekende ligging, tegenover metrostation ... wat mensen zeggen » en 10 minuutjes lopen tot het Copacabana strand. Personeel is wat formeel maar ook hulpvaardig, correct. Prima ontbijtbuffet, ruime kamers en prettige mogelijkheid voor zwemmen en zonnen op het dakterras.
