  The hostel was in a place near to a main street, we arrived at night with the taxi and feel safety, but I don't know how long you can go out there nearby, because we didn't do it. We rented a douple room, it was very clean und the space was okay. 8Min. To walk you can take a metro, where you can go to ipanema and copacabana in 10min..   Me and my wife celebrated our 10th anniversary in Rio, and we booked 2 beds turns out that the whole room was full.   The staffs of this hostel are very friendly and kind. They serves perfect breakfast every morning. There are many restrooms, so you don't need to wait so much for it. - Great staff couldn,t be more helpfull and location in the heart of copacabana . Getting picked up from the airport for free was great , felt special from the start .
