  We had bothered a total of 4 different people on the staff with questions about the local and they all went above and beyond. The rooms were spacious and unique, the location was perfect and the breakfast was timely, original for an american and yet had the staples we would like - Staff have excellent English and were very accommodating. One of the best pousada's we stayed in in Brazil.

Went for the Falls and then realized I also got lucky and had an amazingly relaxing stay at the resort. Also, be sure to contact Bliss Travel at the resort.   There were pretty big rooms, good service, very helpful English-speaking staff (at reception). Breakfast is very good, also we had a dinner, and it was also nice. From the high floor there is a good view to the city or to the river. For cold weather (it was +3C) they have power conditioners - setting to +26 makes room acceptable. It's near to shops and a good restaurant (Buffalo's - corpses and salad buffet for veggos, music too). William (spelling?) at the hotel desk couldn't have been more helpful and efficient! Bus stop to the Falls just round the corner. Highly recommend. It worked well for us!
