  The room was beautiful and had an amazing view of Salzburg which was not that obvious to us from the description of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but not overbearing or snobby like in some other higher end hotels.   This is our second time at this Hotel but the last time, they were full (December 2005) and we had not booked!) but they kindly let us stay with their Aunt who lives in a house in the grounds. It is totally family run and they are such nice people. Very friendly, helpful and the Breakfast was great. The Bacon & eggs were superb plus a buffet o... wat mensen zeggen » f cold collations. The evening meal was just as good, great value and real Austrian, local menu and produce. Very rustic, pine and typically Tyrolean. - The hotel was lovely, beautiful gardens and pool. It was very well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed 2 great meals in the restaurant. We appreciated the setting slightly out of Salzburg.
