  The hotel is about 10 min by foot from the main train station and the way is simple. Additionally, after reservation you receive from the hotel an instruction how to get to the hotel. We chose a room with a bathroom. Our room was very clean, comfortable, big enough for 2 people. It was on the second floor. Moreover, we got the room for non-smoker... wat mensen zeggen » s, from a garden site – as we asked when we're making the reservation. So we had a beautiful view of the Kapuzinerberg and the Heuberg. The old town i - The pension was perfectly clean, and approximately 20 meters from it is a bus stop. The busses run about every 20 mins, but it varies. The reception staff is very helpful. Do buy tickets beforehand, to save unnecessary expensive on the bus purchased, tickets. But remember, on Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on, so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.

  The pension is in a very nice quiet out of town location, with a convenient bus stop for the short bus ride to the city. It was pretty much as expected from other reviews, I.E. clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed, including a nice breakfast. I don't suppose you can eat out within easy walking distance, but we planned to spend o... wat mensen zeggen » ur time in Salzburg anyway. We used the free on site parking and took the bus both days of our stay. The lady who owns the Pension was very hospitable - The place is so nice. Surounded by mointains and you can hear the river running while you sleep. Me room was beautiful. The girl in charge was really nice. The breakfast you wouldn't belive... 17 kind of cereals, diferent cheeses, fruits, real coffee and more! The bus to the city runs often and it takes 10 min to get to there. You can hike near by and they lend you sticks and umbrellas.

  Very pleasantly surprised. We wanted to stay longer! The room was very modern and clean - we felt right at home. It's a good 10 minute walk to town, but for this price and this quality we were prepared to make the hike!   We felt that we included with the family, not simply anonymous guests passing through. We got to meet young Maria, and one of the owner's three sons even played for us on his accordion! The food is quite good, and iteresting activities seem to occur during the week, such as a tango night. Salzburg is readily accessible As a side-note, we had lef - Who wouldn't love to visit family in a 400-year-old curiosity of a house with winding passages, multiple levels, and a variety of antiques? My daughter, two teenaged grandsons, and I felt welcome and quite at home during out stay. Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the neighborhood ambience with an easy walk to the old town center. Like most Europe
