Everything is perfectly clean. There is even no cobwebs on the carport, what is very unusual for Townsville. Perfect attention to detail regarding cleaning. Nothing fancy equipped, but beds very comfortable and kitchen with all necessities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location very close to the Strand, but still peaceful and calm in the evening/night. Perfect. Recommend to all. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble from booking my skydive for me to charging my phone when my charger broke. Tabitha and Steve were such lovely people, I wish I had more time there. The apartment was immaculate and really comfortable and there was a lovely pool. It was also in a nice, quiet location very close to the Strand.
alle beoordelingen » We were given a large room with 2 single beds and a double bed, there's a small kitchenette and a nice bathroom. Space to park the car right outside. Good value We called ahead to say we would be checking in late and the landlady was very friendly and left our key out for us. The location was great just a short walk from the water front. There was not any street noise, however, noise as vehicles were coming and going from the parking lot was disturbing. The kitchenette was well equipped and the bed was fairly comfortable. Great layout and modern decore. All the amenities one could need for a family holiday. Loved the pool. The location is perfect, one street back from the Strand but adjacent to the main park. Close to food outlets. Great value for money and the room was very comfortable and clean. This room has everything you need to prepare your own food. Just a short walk from the Strand and the run to the top of Castle Hill is a must do. The size of the apartment was a welcome surprise. It is large! The Kitchen was good and the bed comfortable. It was only 100 meters from the Strand. The apartment was nicely updated, clean and affordable. It is a good walking distance to The Strand and small shopping centre. Cheers. The bit we were in seemed like a motel, a nice one though, maybe the apartments with the pool are located elsewhere. The only internet in the room was wired, so I couldn't use my iPad. There was a hot spot just outside the office to receive wifi. Loudest kettle in the world. Extra blankets were scratchy. There were no negatives. Nothing. Nothing. Wasn't aware there was a pool until I saw (below) photos. Parking was a bit of a pain. Would of been easier to park out front. Nothing. Thin walls, e.g. you can hear when the neighbor takes a shower. It was hard to find our apartment we were given the wrong information sheet but a quick call to the office sorted it out. N/A. Noisy water pipes. pool wasnt clean so didnt use it. On the letsbookhotel.com site it said there was free wifi available in all areas. However when we got there, the wifi was ony in a hot spot outside the office in select rooms, which wasn't included in the standard room we booked. Staff was very nice about it but letsbookhotel.com need to label this better. Only one sink/basin in the kitchen. No sink/ badin in bathroom. Difficult to brush teeth and shave in the kitchen sink. People smoking outside the rooms allowing smoke to drift in through the windows. The vinyl covers on the mattress make for an uncomfortable bed. The surcharge on use of Amex cards despite no warning about this in the information on bookings.com website for this place. Quite old bathroom..Airconditioners smelt & very loud....Had no tea towels, nor face washer...Terrible parking bays..
