  Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel... wat mensen zeggen » lent value! - I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

  We stayed at Villa Marine. It was a very good experience. The appartments are very clean and all the stuff that you needed are there. There is a very nice swimmingpool and the beach is 50 m from the apartment. Yorkeys Knob (Villa Marine appartments) is just 10 min from Cairns. Its also very nice that they have a tourbooking so when you stay here ... wat mensen zeggen » you can get some discounts on tours! We loved this place and it feels like home (unfortunatly it was only for a couple of days)...

  The efficiency apartment was spacious and had a interesting design I'll call open concrete modern. There were separate areas for cooking, lounging, dining and sleeping. All the furniture was built in. A short walk thought a park takes you to Four Mile Beach. The Apartments are in a quiet suburban area, a plus for us. Free wi-fi was nice as well. The property managers were flexible and accomodating about when we arrived and when we left. A really great experience.
