  The owners were so thoughtful. The accommodated an early arrival and greeted us warmly. The villa was immaculate as was the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone, young or old. We would return without question. - Everything!!!. An absolute 10/10.   I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. Our apartment (111) was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and beach. It was spacious, clean and had every facility you could wish for. We booked our Quicksilver cruise to the outer barrier reef with him plus transfers from a bus stop 2 m - We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!! The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped. We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.

David and Daniela were so accommodating David's recommendations for places to eat we're spot on, the breakfast hampers were superb, and the freshly baked warm bread ... YUM! Oh, what am I saying??? I shouldn't be building them up TOO much, ... wat mensen zeggen » we want to keep this a secret. ;) Just wonderful. - Great owners, very friendly and willing to accommodate any request. The perfect getaway location and fully self contained, restocked daily or more often if required without even know they were there (items dropped off at front door), loved the wood fire and the breakfasts, they truly need to be experienced!!

  The rooms are very comfortable for two people to stay in and the view from our room was outstanding. The location of the hotel was central on the main street of Port Douglas which made everything in the street seem so close no matter where we were headed. We loved the pool and made sure we used it daily! Plenty of good cooking/serving ware and generous supplies of shampoo/soaps etc in bathrooms/kitchen. Short walk to supermarket, shopping plaza, movies, bars & eateries. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!
