  The owners were so thoughtful. The accommodated an early arrival and greeted us warmly. The villa was immaculate as was the rest of the house.   I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. Our apartment (111) was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and beach. It was spacious, clean and had every facility you could wish for. We booked our Quicksilver cruise to the outer barrier reef with him plus transfers from a bus stop 2 m - We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!! The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped. We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.

If you want to avoid the killer hill, there is a pathway leading from the apartments which runs along the creek and is not quite so steep. Plenty of good cooking/serving ware and generous supplies of shampoo/soaps etc in bathrooms/kitchen. Short walk to supermarket, shopping plaza, movies, bars & eateries. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!

  Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need. No need to have a car because you can walk every where.!! - Good location. Very clean. A whole range of kitchen appliances. Clean and comfortable couches and beds. Very private. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked for a 1 bedroom apartment and got an upgrade to a 2 bedroom. - Our accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment at no extra cost. The location was extremely convenient to all restaurants and especially the beach which is virtually across the road. The staff were wonderful and really helpful in organising activities and transfers.
