  I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. Our apartment (111) was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and beach. It was spacious, clean and had every facility you could wish for. We booked our Quicksilver cruise to the outer barrier reef with him plus transfers from a bus stop 2 m - We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!! The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped. We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.

The location of the hotel was central on the main street of Port Douglas which made everything in the street seem so close no matter where we were headed. We loved the pool and made sure we used it daily!   The swim-out apartment was spacious and clean. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry equipments were in good condition. Craig, one of the reception staffs there, was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us many information about the day trips to Daintree rain forest and the ship cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, etc. The Apartment is quite q... wat mensen zeggen » uiet as it is located near the end of the Esplanade away from the restaurants and pubs, but still it's just ~10-15min walk to the city centre - Excellent place to stay in Cairns. 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre. A spacious apartment, very clean. Great help from the staff. We booked a swim out apartment which was well worth the extra money. Highly recommended.

Plenty of good cooking/serving ware and generous supplies of shampoo/soaps etc in bathrooms/kitchen. Short walk to supermarket, shopping plaza, movies, bars & eateries. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!
