  Set back from the street in a nice quiet location in a cul de sac so there was no passing traffic. We stayed in the Tuscan room which although it was the smallest was quite adequate. There was a couple of lounge areas where you could sit by the fire chatting during the evening, watch TV or curl up with a book. The proprietors Graeme and Marie-Lou... wat mensen zeggen » ise Corin were very nice, hospitable and informative especially with things to see and do. Breakfast prepared by Graeme (who is a cook) was very nice - Very welcomeing, friendly, it was like you were staying in someone's house. Our host Graeme was helpful and hospitable and cooks a yummy breakfast. We came in on cold night to a warm cosy room. There was also a fire in the lounge room if you wished to sit there. We found our room comfortaleble and stayed there with a glass of wine.The first 1st photos is of the room we stayed in, so I know them to be true.

  really enjoyed our stay...was quiet and the owners were fantastic..nothing was a hassel..was greeted as we pulled up which we really appreciated and was so friendly. the lodge was lovely and everything that we could want was right there at our finger tips...also the breakfast was lovely...very central to beaches / shopping etc - Large, modern, co... wat mensen zeggen » mfortable accommodation in very attractive garden setting.   I would thoroughly recommend Marty's at Little Beach. The room was very modern with a large bathroom and shower. The hot water was very welcome. It was great to see a hairdryer, ironing board and iron available in the room. The complimentary beach bag was much appreciated as I had wet clothes after competing in a Triathlon and had forgotten to ... wat mensen zeggen » bring a plastic bag. There was also a complimentary watch which will come in handy. The location was close to Nelson Bay Shopping Centre but was in - Gorgeous little motel block ..extremely clean and beautifully fitted out and when you arrive at your room you're greeted with a gift or 2 welcoming you to Martys ...the lady owner is marvellous , very helpful and organised ..I would definetely go back there again and I would recommend to all my travelling friends ... A pleasure staying there indeed .

  The family room had a door to section off the kids room. Also a tv for kids and one for parents. The microwave, kettle, toaster n fridge. Loved the plunger coffee. - The position was good. Staff were friendly and helpful - proud to promote their areas. Had plenty of ideas and suggestions where to go and/or dine.

  I love everything about this hotel and can't imagine staying anywhere else when I'm in Sydney. The atmosphere, the character, the style and the wonderful staff. The location couldn't be more perfect, surrounded by water and a lovely walk along the harbour foreshore and beyond to reach the restaurants, cafes and The Rocks, but tucked away enough t... wat mensen zeggen » o be peaceful and quiet. I recently had to return there at a distressing time, a funeral, I was upgraded to a beautiful waterside room, a bottle of ch - The location , the great spirit of the staff reflected in their work ethic and translated back to me. I stayed 6 nights with my sister as her birthday treat with valet parking. We also had Room service for some meals and enjoyed some good movies after our long days of rediscovering Sydney. We felt welcome. The location is simply stunning and uplifting.
