  Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! - The owner Jim was very obliging and helpful. The room was very comfortable, equipped with everything you might need. Would definitely stay again.

  The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. Really appreciated extra touches such as free use of beach umbrellas and chairs as well as kids toys. Thanks for making our first day at Port Douglas so memorable.

  Really good apartments for families - extremely quiet, reasonably spacious and well equipped and delightful management.   We cam with our family - big kids & grandkids - I had booked it almost a year ago off the Internet - I just hoped it was what we wanted & it was. The apartments were great - lovely to have the washing machine & driers - & the balconies. Loved the breakfasts by the pool - & the pool itself was fabulous. The property was not a massive resort and was well secure. The management were very friendly and accommodating.A pleasant walk into the shopping precinct with a shuttle bus at reasonable cost at end of day.

  Jakob was fantastic, so helpful with information on the area, and he even negotiated a discount for our snorkelling tour on the reef for us. The rooms were basic but fantastic value for money and extremely clean. The location could not have been any better, we were walking distance from everything. The pool was clean and great to have as an option if the beach was windy or rough. We also loved the fre - It's a very quiet yet convenient location in relation to the main street and businesses of town, clean and well cared for. Jakob is an excellent host with a plethora of knowledge of the region and the services available to visitors; he helped to make our stay a memorable and pleasant week. We highly recommend the Palm Villas!

  We were actually shifted to Tropical Sands Resort as your internet service was down when we were making our booking. Was closer to town so preferred this location anyway. Very quiet location so very relaxing.

  There was an initial problem as I booked a twin room but got a double, for the first night the staff gave me an extra room for no extra cost, then stated that if I found another hotel, they would refund the difference, however, the staff realised that they had made a mistake and gave me the extra room for the rest of my stay at no extra cost, also... wat mensen zeggen » I had to vacate the room at 10am, but my transfer was not until 4pm, the staff let me keep the room for the extra time for no extra cost, the rooms w - We stayed in a very nice, clean king bedroom with a great colour scheme. There is a small en-suite and comfy bed. A map of Port Douglas at reception. Free internet on provided ipad. Great customer service - reception is a phone, I called them twice and we waited 10mins. Lady came and apologised and gave us our keys, then the owner came and knocked on the door and apologised profusely with a bottle. Brilliant location. Would definitely stay again.
