Food and drink available to order by the pool which made for a great relaxing stay. Awesome breakfast included. Love the no under 16yo rule and will be back.

  The room was fantastic and the people were very friendly. The dinner and service at the restaurant was well above what was expected, absolutely beautiful. The spa on the roof was checked and turned on every morning and they even check and clean the BBQ for you.   The rooms are very comfortable for two people to stay in and the view from our room was outstanding. The location of the hotel was central on the main street of Port Douglas which made everything in the street seem so close no matter where we were headed. We loved the pool and made sure we used it daily! Pool area was also lovely. Washing facility was a real bonus. - Middle of the center of Port Douglas.   the staff were great especially Emma at reception. the spa was amazing, very serene and relaxing and my massage was bliss. location is great, a street away from shops and cafes. loved the torch flames throughout the resort. - Excellent stay. Very clean and spacious apartment. Would stay again.

  We loved Anne who works at the resort. She clearly has been in the area and business for a long time and goes out of her way to ensure that her knowledge of the best tours to go on and places to eat are put to good use! We came late and had no trouble getting in and when we said we were leaving in the afternoon Anne organised great transfers and w... wat mensen zeggen » as so accommodating with a late check in. Super friendly and great lady, even waited to wave us off as we left, we couldn't have asked for more. - Anne, the host was, very welcoming and was very very helpful with advice regarding eating, shopping, tours etc plus explaining all the things available at the Freestyle Resort. The room had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable. It was only a block away from CBD which meant it was quiet and also there was a short forced exercise/walk every time we wanted to go somewhere which was good.In summary! A good all rounder.

  Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need. No need to have a car because you can walk every where.!! - Good location. Very clean.   Proximity to the beach and town and the pool was nice although small. The unit was clean and comfortable for a week and a small family but was pretty small. - We liked the room with the small kitchen and terras. Perfect for 2 persons! Nice surroundings, very quiet and good location!

  We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa on the balcony. Apartment had everything we needed was clean and the spa was a nice relaxing addition. The bed was more comfortable than my own. The owners Sheryl and Bob were lovely and advised us on tours and booked us into them. The pool was lovely (other guests complained it is too small) how... wat mensen zeggen » ever we loved it, perfect to cool down in. Location is excellent walking distance to everything. Would stay at the Regal again if I were to return t - Sheryl and Bob are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland. The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus. The pool area is very nice although there are some quite big and unexpected drops in the pool floor levels. Regal is ideally placed 25m off Macrossan St. It is a 3

  Stayed at VSM first two weeks of October. A beautiful spacious apartment in A Spanish style; clean and cosy. Very happy with our room number 42 at the back of the block, as it was quiet and the balcony very private. VSM is at the centre of Port Douglas surrounded by a great variety of eateries for all tastes and budgets. I can recommend the Quicksilver trip to the Coral Reef, Tony's Trop - Excellent location right in the heart of main street, with shops and restaurants a short stroll from the apartment. Apartment was very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Host was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
