We were more than pleased with everything and the upstairs barbacue area like something out of a movie, we loved it. We had overseas visitors with us and as we were all on a budget, being seniors, we were thrilled with everything and when we called for assistance in a very small and silly matter, we were attended to immediately and with grand humour, so would have no hesitation in saying Visit and revisit, which we hope to do next time we have visitors, It was well worth the car journey from Sy.
alle beoordelingen » We arrived late, outside usual book in hours and the key was left under the mat as promised. We simply wanted budget overnight accommodation and that's what we received. Our only contact with staff was at reception and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We looked the location of the motel and have promised ourselves a longer stay, possibly with more people, at a later date as we had no time to avail ourselves of all that the motel had to offer on this trip. The walls between the rooms were brick, and the motel is set back from the highway - so I heard no noise. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the restaurant was good value for money. The room was a good size and had a very pleasant river outlook. During the off-peak season, the room charges are very reasonable, and I would recommend this motel to families and people wanting to stay for more than a night. Pet policy....travelling with pets is often necessary...& my small dogs would prefer to sleep in familiar car, so not staying in room is ok.Allowing them to be at the motel means I can take them with me, and the grounds make it easy to walk them before leaving. The Motel is generally well designed and equipped, with spacious grounds located in a beautiful environment. It is almost exactly mi-way between Sydney and Brisbane. The restaurant is truly excellent. We loved we could close the door to the kids area after bed time. The spa was a nice extra. We LOVED the birds and Yo Yo the dog. We liked the convenience of a bar and restaurant in the complex and the lovely riverside location. We had a view from our room. The friendly staff and not having to go out after settling in because of the on-site restaurant and the food was fantastic. meals excellent very quiet well back from highway large grounds on the river would go back for sure. There was nothing that we particularly disliked. The solar hot water took a long time to get to the room I was in, and I wondered if the hot water had run out. The owner should put in their room information folder that the hot water takes a while to get to the taps. I had an excellent shower when the hot water arrived. That I had to leave. The walls are a bit thin and we had what could act as an interconnecting room, so we could hear the people next door, but as they went to sleep early it wasn't a big issue. complex aged. Dinner was a little pricey. It was nice but don't get alot for what you pay. Since it is Pet friendly it should be noted more on web page. The dogs annyoed me barking but the owners did bring them to control quickly. nothing. We arrived at night and it was difficult to find - needs the sign to be illuminated. All good. A bit old Dripping taps in bathroom. Weather!!!!. We know its been flooded, but bedrooms still damp and mouldy, public rooms dated but servicable. Entry from highway very dangerous from south. Staff were't friendly or inviting The wi fi is advertised free but isn't. The bed could of been a little bit more comfortable. Our room had no hot water so we were unable to have a shower!!!!. booked at $99p/night,on 3rdsept. by phone,$79 was advertised on the computer.i have kept a print of the web page, however the receptionist",melody" argued this was not available.she was argumentive,should not be in the business. Motel ok but very old and needs some maintenance. Everything else!. Poor value for money. Broken window unable to be locked and closed for security reasons. Piece of wire mesh placed insecurely on opening. Smoke alarm appeared dated and probably did not work. Was no room booked for us on arrival. Reception wasn't professional. Got the last room. Could and dirty, old and smelly. Very tired decor.
