a. such close proximity to the beach b. shops, movie theatre, eateries etc so close. c. the beautiful Otway Ranges/Otway Fly and the beauty of the region generally d. wonderful visits from the local cockatoos to our balcony - very friendly and gentle. e. Rose, the friendly, helpful woman at reception. Location is fantastic , we were with a small baby and we could Pop over and back from the beach without any problems. Also the balconies are lovely allowing us to dine outside with nice views whilst the baby slept inside. Free DVD service and nice tv, very comfortable room. Definitely would return.

Upper level would been better.Will use again only if rooms on Upper floors or Front rooms are available. Lorne is the best town on the Great Ocean Road. Sandridge is the best motel in Lorne. Room 18 is the best room in Sandridge. Great location! Great view! Next time I won't make all the way to Port Campbell. I'll just stay here for the entire holiday. As I was travelling alone, the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful, she made an effort to remember me and asked how my day was; basically made me feel very welcomed. I would definitely return when I come back to Lorne. We specified in our booking on the room we want: away from the noise and it was for our wedding anniversary and were given the right room. it was perfect -thank you for listening to your guest request. The location is superb and the facilities in the room were excellent. The views are stunning and the staff member on duty could not have been more professional and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a cleaner, more comfortable room. It was a joy to be so close to the water. I appreciated being able to have an early check in and l late check out. asked for sea views and thats what we got, just across the road from the beach. would stay there again to relax, nothing flash just comfy and close to everything. Rear Car park hard to park. too narrow and in bad angle.Noise from next rooms (doors slamming), Linen,left on ground at rear entry from carpark to passageway, not picked up on time by contractor, did not look inviting. Lack of ventilation in room. Do I have to fill in this blank? Well, motel facility is of motel. But who cares?. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing!!. Our parking spot (No 18) was a bit awkward to get in and out of No other complaints. The bathroom was very small. Bed could have been a little more comfy , Maybe a mattress topper to make mattress a little softer. Energy saver on tv kept turning it off. window in bathroom so other people in your room can see you on the toilet. Car parking very limited and CLOSE but you do say adequate public parking which is sort of correct. No complaints. Our heater / airconditioner wasn't working however they did give us a plug in heater which worked okay. Window in ensuite. Not much. That we could not sit on the balcony due to the cockatoos. The bathroom could use an update. one person was pretty rude when we parked up after being out for the day - demanding i couldn't park there, it was for residents only - told her i was and she demanded to know what room number, which i told her, and no apology for the attitude!. Bathroom was dusty, particularly on high up shelves etc. bathroom was also dated. Car parking spaces are very narrow, leaving very little room to get in and out. Wifi is also an extra charge!. nothing. Price. Nothing. Nothing really but glad we upgraded our room. The stairs. 0lder motel with fairly steep external stairs to units. Dragging heavy cases up stairs & down again. white cockies coming in to look for food. Pissed off with people feeding them when they shouldn't. Bathroom was way too small and had a damp smell. Carpark couldn't fit our 4WD vehicle so we had to park on street risking parking fines. Bathroom needed a bit of maintaince. Nothing. The fact that the position of the TV covered the beautiful window view of the sea! Get rid of the tacky bubbled covering on the window. The main door let's in too much light underneath making it difficult to sleep. The door to the balcony didn't lock!. Did not like the dust on some of the furniture. The parking size is not really fit for family car event for SUV. We need to squeeze if beside us also a big car. price of food at some resturants tv not in good spot should be at foot of bed or up on the wall.
