Room was in excellent condition and spotless. Excellent value for money. The room was excellently appointed and spacious. Every appliance had been checked for safety and there were really good kitchen facilities, great free wifi, and so close to shops and restaurants in Sandy Bay. Location good for what we needed to do. Great view along the road when walking to the city centre via Battery point. With restaurants and two major Australian shopping malls nearby, dining and transport are very convenient. Would stay here again. Came to hobart for a girls weekend. Found the apartment very clean and modern. Very close to Centre, so we were able to walk all the time staying there. The two rooms apartment with fairly large rooms and equipped with kitchen facilities sufficient for preparation of simple meals.Walking distance to supermarket and restaurants. It was quite spacious and handy to eating places and to the city and Salamanca place where a lot of activity takes place. Although on the main road it was very quiet. Loved having a small well equiped kitchen. Great location with small shopping area 100 mitres down the road and within walking distance of CBD and tourist areas. I put it back under the window when we were leaving. No dislikes. The room was not too quiet at night as the traffic is quite close and loud. The bright lights from the Woolmers sign shone in through the window despite closing all the blinds. All ok. The TV could have been better placed in the hall for better viewing comfort. We had first floor accommodation and could hear people upstairs using the toilet. Shower over bath. In-bed reading light needed for those of us who like to read to sleep. Wi Fi fee. Cleaners missed spiderwebs in all rooms. Hot water a little up and down in temperature. the paintwork looked a bit 'tired'. Nothing! Was great!. No oven in kitchen, only 2 small hotplates, a common laundry that required change, shut at 7pm. cant really say anything bad was a good as you could expect for self contained accomodation. Had a problem with a group of noisy blokes out for a good time on a Friday night - unfortunately this went on until they left at 0830 the next morning. The manager on duty was very apologetic about this. The heating was inadequate for what was quite a cold evening/next morning. The shower over the bath, no upstairs toilet and stairs only because we had our Mum with us and she had a hip replacement a year ago. Blinds not capable of blocking out security lights at night. One light shines directly onto window. Little noisy at night when windows open. Very noisy. Only place I have been yet in Australia with no recycling bin. 1. The lady receptionist - At least a greeting and a smile to welcome us would be nice. 2. The room details when we booked specifies a washing machine available in the apartment but actually there is none. There is a coin operated laundry instead but it costs AUD4 for washing and AUD4 for drying - highest of all the other 4 motels we stayed earlier. If we had known this, we would have done our laundry earlier at lower cost or stayed at another apt which ended to the same cost. Nothing. The shower - it wouldn't maintain a consistent temperature. We could see how easy it would be to lock yourself out of unit but the firm laying down of rules and fines made us feel we were being put in jail??Perhaps a more up to date locking system would help?. Shower facilities needed attention. Nothing really. the couch need to be a bit bigger and more comfortable. Noisy, light not blocked out sufficiently, large orange neon light all night. Old dated furniture. sofa was due replacement but was told it was happening. The tight parking facility. Bed was broken or very worn. It was on a lean. Pillows were hard and lumpy.
