On arrival after sundown, going up the lush tree/shrub lined driveway, we felt like we were in another world. Rob was an excellent host making sure we had all the information for where we were located and places to eat for dinner and breakfast. The self-contained unit was very appealing - extremely clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the modern decor and extremely clean and fresh linen. The best place we have stayed in so far on our trip of 3,300kms to date.
alle beoordelingen » Rob was a very friendly host and an outstanding resource for information on places to eat and things to do in and around Hervey Bay. His blog also provided great recommendations about what to do on the way to Hervey Bay from just about every direction. Our room's back porch was a very pleasant spot to relax and have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine or beer at night. We really enjoyed our stay!. Staff service at reception / office when collecting key to room was well above exceptional the gentleman's efforts with his kind, friendly and helpful manner was a breath of fresh air especially after a long 3 + hour journey in the car. I demand the manager of the establishment reward him for his hospilality and professionalism, we'll be returning guests that's for sure!. Being away from the usual main road noise of Motels. The lovely rain forest atmosphere complete with birds singing and the affordable comfortable rooms and hot showers. Usually only go to Hervey Bay for medical appointments but wouldn't stay anywhere else. I liked the setting and atmosphere. Centrally located making it easy to drive to shopping, leisure activities and for locating friends. I would recommend this motel to those seeking a soothing romantic setting to relax and unwind. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The accommodation was roomy, comfortable, very clean & well supplied with extra pillows & blankets. The kitchen facilities were very good as well. Everything. Setting, amenities outside the room and also inside. Lighting, power points, everything seemed to be designed to ensure the comfort of the guests. Thought it good value for money. Rob's passion for his business, the travellers and whale watching in general was fantastic. He booked us a great tour with Whale Song boat and we had a most satisfying encounter. Pillows, shower curtain, thigh parking. a bit spartan out the way location.
