Clean, tidy, lovely pool and very relaxing place to stay. Make sure you request beachfront as this was best in our view but equally you could overlook the pool and gardens

  I have used this hotel 3 times now as a stop off on my trips north. It is easy to find, well priced, in a great spot, and the staff are super friendly and nothing was or is a problem. There are loads of restaurants/takeaways within walking distance as well as shops if you want to browse. Also it was good that there was a bar fridge in the room. Complimentary tea and coffee in the breakfast area was also appreciated

  The accomodation was very comfortable and a fairly short walk to the beach. There was a good variety of restaurants/shopping facilities near the hotel. The hotel ownrs were very pleasant and helpful and happy to make suggestions regarding where to eat and what to do etc. The free internet access was a good bonus too. Friendly couple running the motel. Free laundry room located on the premises. Swimming pool which was at the front of the motel behind a high brick fence for privacy which was good. Quiet with a close proximity to everything needed, bakery, chemist, supermarket. Hotel at the end of the road Hoey Moey? Had meals for $8.50 which were good quality and serving size.

  The reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful, explained the best places to have a meal, and the localities of same. My wife and I travelled to Coffs Harbour for Medical Specialist reasons, will have to return early in June so will stay at the Hawaiian Sands again if there is a vacancy - The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had ... wat mensen zeggen » everything we needed for our overnight stay on a budget. The pub across the road did indeed have great value meals and live music and the owner, Mel, was lovely to deal with. Would stay here again.

  Stayed here for only one night, but it just wasn't long enough. The room was large, very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Alisha and Peter the managers were great and very accommodating, we were booked in else where the next night for a wedding.
