  The swim-out apartment was spacious and clean. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry equipments were in good condition. Craig, one of the reception staffs there, was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us many information about the day trips to Daintree rain forest and the ship cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, etc. The Apartment is quite q... wat mensen zeggen » uiet as it is located near the end of the Esplanade away from the restaurants and pubs, but still it's just ~10-15min walk to the city centre - Excellent place to stay in Cairns. 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre. A spacious apartment, very clean. Great help from the staff. We booked a swim out apartment which was well worth the extra money. Highly recommended.

  Very good location, beautiful view facing the inlet wharf. Quiet but very close to woolworth, restaurants and gift shops. The room was thougtfully set up with full kitchen equipments as well as basic condiments and utensiles. Free wifi. The room and towels were very clean. They are always helpful and responsive to any que - We stayed at the Jack & Newell for three nights in a 3 bed apartment in Nov 2013. The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

  Was not expecting too much when I booked here. However, I was extremely surprised and impressed with the 2 bedroom apartment right outside the swimming pool. The unit didn't have a water view. But we could see enough from the pool. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Had a teenager and 7yr old with us.   I was surprised at how modern the inside decor and furniture was. Very clean with everything a person would want for a long family stay. We unfortunately only stayed one night but we were very happy to have the convenience of been able to wash our clothes overnight! - central, spacious, value for money, accessible. Nice smalll swimming pool, but we did not use it (the swimming pool at the esplanade is so great!)   It was our 2nd staying at the property and we enjoyed pretty much for twice accommodation there. It is a little bit different service style comparing with the big deluxe hotels, all the staffs here were all looking after us like family member, which made us feeling “ home away from home”. Especially we would like to mention one of excellent recept... wat mensen zeggen » ionist Eileen, she was always presenting you with so sweet smiling face all the time and arranged us the great local tours by our exact need ……! All - The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable.
