  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

  The location was excellent, the room (1 b/room appartment) was very clean and had every thing you would need away from home. Staff were friendly & helpful especially when there was a mix up with my booking, my room had been prepared. Good value for your money. Even the guests staying at Cascade were friendly. The outside decor was nice, and the pool/BBQ area looked nice and clean. In-room laundry was a definite bonus.

Lopend enkele minuten naar strand - The commitment and friendliness of its owners, Sharon and Dave. The rooms are clean, comfortable, of a good size, and well appointed, including cooking facilities. Location is less than three minutes' walk to the seafront and, although about 2km out of the town, this means that it is quiet. We were on our honeymoon and when Sharon and Martin found out, they came up with champagne and chocolates - such a sweet thing to do.   We loved the quality for cost. This hotel/motel was very clean and well laid out (as good as a new building) with swimming pool, breakfast area with the option for a cooked meal - continental provided, spacious outdoor lounge and BBQ area. Three car hire firms a five minute walk away. We have already recommended this hote - Queen's Court had atmosphere. The areas for relaxing are plentiful, aesthetically pleasing and well designed. From the clean rooms equipped with TV, fridges, hair dryer, AC to the included breakfast, this hotel is very budget friendly. Although on a main thoroughfare our room was toward the back of the hotel and noise was not a problem. Exceptionally friendly staff concluded an excellent stay!

  We chose Rainbow inn for the price and then when we got there we loved the hotel, The staff were friendly and welcoming, The room was perfect for us and we walked straight out our door to the pool and spa area which is just so inviting. Reasonable price. Walking distance - 15 mins of main drag but quiet surroundings which I wanted. Good restaurant open for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Happy hour at the bar. Receptionists could not have been more helpful. If I return to Cairns I will stay again for sure.

  We have been using the Balinese for 10 years and it has always been a good stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff have been great and have even taken personal time to help. The location is great, close enough to central Cairns, but far enough away where you don't have to put up with the noise and traffic. The kitchen is great, we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. Basic breakfast but good to have :) Oh and we got an early check in too which we appreciated.

Breakfast was really well done and once again, the member of staff in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. - Have stayed at the hotel since it was "Tuna Towers".
