We arrived late at the motel about 8 p.m. and found that the receptionist lobby was dark and the door was closed. We began to feel worried as everything had been arranged for our stay there until my quick-sighted friend found a note attached to the glass door. We were relieved and pleased that John, if I'm not wrong about his name, had written a note about our check-in and had our keys left in one of the rooms. Thanks John.
alle beoordelingen » I am a 64 year old female and I went for a night's accommodation with a 65 year old woman to attend a funeral. We found the Gale Street accommodation just perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable and there was everything we needed and very neat and tidy. I would go again anytime I am looking for accommodation in Busselton. Excellent position for walking to beach, town, restaurants,great big comfortable bed, good-sized fridge, great tea and toast making facilities, rooms quiet and very clean. Staff (manager) was very friendly and I enjoyed a chat with him. The room was air-conditioned and it was quite cool outside. I would happily use this destination again. I really liked it's proximity to both beach and town. All in walking distance. The staff were friendly and the rooms were simple but clean and adequate. we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, and the beds were tops. Easy to get around to the beach and jetty and to the shops. Very clean room and modern clean bathroom. We were unable to boil some water for our hot drinks as the sight inside the kettle looked very unpleasant. We hope in future all the kettles provided in the hotels or motels are not those with the coil ones. There wasn't one single thing I didn't like. The people were very friendly and welcoming. Fixed head shower with water temperature difficult to control. Put in a detachable shower head and it would be ideal!. The room was very cold the first night but we left the heating on very low the next day and it didn't take so long to warm up. Plenty of blankets though. The hand basin needed replacement!. We didn't stay long enough. There was no mini shampoo and conditioners provided :(. Surrounding area is very dark at night, but it's very close to the main shopping street and the beautiful jetty, so I won't complain. Our stay was a bit short!. one off power failure approx 2 hours isolated to motel problem, staff handled problem professionally. You provided everything we needed for our stay. Since the aircond is only outside, it was abit cold in the room when its winter. So aleeping at night was abit uncomfy. No dislikes. Cobwebs over the fridge but there was a broom to sweep them down. Nothing. Dvd player did not work. Lights out side the rooms, a bit dated colour scheme and fittings. Double room a bit basic but adequate for a short break. no negative comments. seats a bit uncomfortable. nothing. Water fountain noisy early in the morning and family next door could hear their constant talking. Tea things were tucked away in the wardrobe difficult to access. Hardley enough milk and not replenished over a 2 night stay. I had another guest attack verbally me after knocking at my door over parking. It was caused by three girls who had one unit and three cars. When I called for help the manager was not willing to help. I almost made it a police matter with shouting,obscene language and name calling. Nothing. No microwave. hard as floor bed 2 nights there and we were so sore. no shampo.
