When we had unexpected car trouble and had to delay our departure, Fiona and Warren let us keep our room until the car was fixed. We were able to stay warm and comfortable. They are the best hosts anyone could want and the motel was lovely. Robert & Kate, Morpeth NSW. Everything was as good as promised: cheerful staff, very clean accommodation, excellent central location just walking distance from the hub of Beechworth. We are planning to come back again but for a longer stay there is so much to see and do.
alle beoordelingen » Proprietor (Fiona?) was very friendly and professional. She recommended a quaint bistro uptown for breakfast, which was delicious. Loved the strong hot shower, and the balcony. A fine establishment, very reasonably priced. Cool doggie too!. The room was clean and cosy. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was great. Made use of the sauna each day which was nice after touring around all day. We had a lovely stay & would recommend to anybody. I like that I left my favourite pillow there and they did not hesitate to send it to me by post. Greatly appreciated. Great customer service and wonderfully welcoming attitude by staff. Well done. The motel is a classic 70s design, so expect exposed brick everywhere and slate floors!. No dislikes. low water pressure in the showers; barking dog in neighbours yard. Bed was Hard, shower hot then cold almost impossible to regulate. Leaving to come home. Road noise. Adjacent room persons, although not trying to be annoying, were easily heard on telephone and guffawing at television. The other guests were a bit loud in the morning but not the fault of the motel. Second floor carriage of baggage. Noisy neighbours one night. rooms a bit noisy from other rooms. Bathroom a little cold. TV broken however staff were informed and were going to attend to it. A continental breakfast is brought to rooms the night before, but in my case this was not done on both nights and I had to follow up in the morning. No evening meals. Bed a bit too firm. Rooms were dark Bedside light did not work Toilet seat would not stay up (a problem for us blokes). Room was small with nowhere comfortable to sit. The balcony was not a private balcony. dated facilities, dark interior making the atmosphere cold and unwelcoming. Minimum of a 3 star rating. Top nightly rate for standard accommodation facilities. Traffic noise - close to a main road.
