  Staying at Collingwood Homestead gave us the opportunity to experience the charm of this beautifully restored mansion and its extensive gardens.   We were surprised that we were allocated to stay at Vine Court, which is not part of the hotel at all, but is a refurbished motel 350 metres further along the main street. We actually preferred this location as the rooms were recently refurbished, quiet and well-priced for budget overnight accommodation for either a couple or 2 people - My husban... wat mensen zeggen » d and I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, which was very clean and comfortable. I think a Continental breakfast provision could be supplied to the room for the same cost to make this place more attractive. We also had a meal at the Vine Inn eating facility and found this to be very good.
