  We had a very pleasant experience at the Hostal La Montana. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The hostal itself is simple, no-frills, has a lovely interior courtyard, and all around is good value for money. It is well-situated, only a short distance from the central plaza. - Friendly environment and people, nice garden

  We loved this place. We intended to stay for two nights, but extended for four. Location & view over the valley is just amazing! Rooms are spacious and with a very nice and decent interior design. The hotel manager, Wayne was very dedicated, attentive and helpful. And he is a great grill-maestro ;): We enjoyed two delicious BBQ's. The hotel is... wat mensen zeggen » not that hard to find as written in some reviews: there are plenty of signs on the road and a taxi from Cafayte costs not more than 22 Pesos. Don't h - We liked everything. This is a property in Cafayate with excellent view on the town (may be a little bit remote, it took us 20 minutes to walk to the town center, but it's not a problem is there's a car), John, the manager, made us feel really relaxed. The only thing I regret is that we couldn't stay longer. And Cafayate itself is a really relqxing place.
