A relative came to visit, we stayed in the sofa in the groud floor for a couple of hours and they offered us some coffee (free!).   Prachtig Hotel. Goede service en heerlijk eten. - This is what we updated recently in the Trip Advisor... Sometimes things don't go according to plan. At the back end of our wedding anniversary cruise we were booked for three days at the Fierro Hotel in Buenos Ares. A couple of days before the end of the cruise, we received an email message sayin... wat mensen zeggen » g that the hotel had somehow inadvertently double booked our first day. Not good news, but already the manager had worked on the recovery plan: booked us into a nearby equivalent hotel and offered to c - We loved this hotel!! Highlights for us were the valuable local knowledge the staff provided (especially Victoria), the bed and size of the room, the rooftop pool (this seems to be a rare treat at BA hotels), and lastly the best meal we had the entire trip was at the HG restaurant underneath the hotel. We only have great things to say of this hotel and would definitely return if we are ever again in BA. We also found the fierro blog Insidebuenosaires.com full of the best advise for things to do

  Stayed here for four nights and liked this French run hotel. there was a mini bar and a safe with large flat screen cable TV. Loved the friendly efficient and knowledgable staff. We were made to feel very welcome and the hotel has a family feel about it which we enjoyed. Breakfast was excellent with warm croissants and all the usual choices inclu... wat mensen zeggen » ding freshly cooked eggs. Location is very good for the restaurants in Palermo and about 20 minutes walk in a safe area to the nearest metro station. - - The owner (Frederic) is a very pleasant enthousiastic guy and he gives very good advices on places to go to - The hotel has by far the best finishing in construction and decoration we have seen in Argentina, something which is far from obvious in Argentina - the hotel is located in Palermo Hollywood; to our opinion even better than Palermo Soho: lots of nice restaurants and bars
