Twin Owls Motor Lodge - Photos
Ce que les gens disent
I loved how close the lodge was to downtown Estes Park. My girlfriend and I walked down to Kind Coffee (great atmosphere, awesome place) and did some shopping at the little stores. Also, only a 5 minute drive from Rocky Mountain national park. Great price for a great location. The actual place was nothing special but it was clean and we had no bugs in it which is all that mattered to me since we did not spend much time inside. tous commentaires »
Twin Owls faces a rock formation that looks like two owls and that's all that matters. it's sitting at a gorgeous spot just outside the bustling heart of the town of Estes. It's a bit of a dive, but totally like something out of Northern Exposure. If you're super picky and high end, you may be disappointed, if you are easy going, this is the place without a doubt. Great views, super sweet staff.
Cheapest overnight option for an early morning race. No frills but
totally fine for my short overnight stay. I enjoyed having an
opportunity to chat with the owner/front desk woman after checking
in. Honestly no complaints for the money. Bottom line: clean enough
and cheap. :).
It was clean, the people were very very nice and was a value conscious
motel. I felt badly that some people were not kind to the staff. They
should do good business and could do a bit more with some minor fixes to
the place.
The location is good and easy to find. Room is comfortable and clean. The owner is very helpful and went out of her way to help me.
The price. The location. The quiet.
clean
friendly
priced right
in town.
Loved the location and the room.
Close to lake & shopping.
Price was right. We just needed a place for a quick one-night in a tourist town. This place fit the bill. Bed was comfortable. With my eyes shut it looked like the fancy priced motels nearby.
Great location- within walking distance of downtown Estes, good price.
Location was good, Elk visitors in the morning, which was cool.
Close to Stanley Park fairgrounds. Clean and room was large.
Affordable and walking distance to downtown.
I was rustic and close to downtown.
It was close to town.
It was not expensive.
size and price.
Not much-Scenery was good. Close to town. Estes Park shopping is
strictly souvenir shopping. It is a good gateway destination for Rocky
Mtn Natl Park. Area outside of town is very lovely up towards mtns.
Stanley Hotel is good historical site. McDonald's is good buy for
the money, clean, friendly. Tourist bureau is best.
Location was good, close to downtown as well as the fairgrounds. Bathroom was clean. Bed was clean.
Location was close to shopping.
Convenience to downtown.

Nothing.
price.
Nothing, well never stay there again.
We thought we were going to be able to go for night swim but the pool had no water in it. Would not have changed our minds on staying there but feel as though the place could have been a little cheaper if they claimed to have a swimming pool but it was not available for swimming.
They need to cut down the pine trees that obstruct the view. The tiny
soaps were an annoyance. The place is dated but was a value considering
it is a resort area and a bit pricey. No real complaints here.
No WIFI in room. Several things broken, like electrical plugs.
Pool was closed, hot tub was not overly hot-felt like bath water, had
children and that's what they wanted to do in the evening.
Pool was not open.
This once was a proud motel. Now is getting run-down. Had to go to front desk for towels and a garbage can. Chairs well-worn and 'iffy.' to sit in. Overall, needs to be updated badly.
Pool not open for entire 2013 season, rundown motel.
Felt the motel needs some "updating" My group felt with a little bit of effort, this place would be really nice. It just felt very outdated and dusty. Appears to be managed by one specific family, but lobby was filled with old plants and very dusty. TV outdated, coffee in lobby, however I preferred not to obtain any there, waited until I got to the restaurant!.
Travelers need to know to bring their own hairdryer and that there is no coffee maker. The bed and pillows are very basic. May want to bring your own pillows. Furnishings very plain. Would recommend when you want 'just need a place to sleep and shower'.
No AC but the nights were cool enough that it wasn't a problem. Swimming pool was empty and dirty. If I had kids and were planning to swim I would have been made...we weren't going to swim anyway, so it was no big deal.
No air conditioning.
There was no refrigerator in the room, no hot water heater, no shampoo or lotion. The hot tub was just warm instead of hot.
mattress (terrible) and TV(old school). New TV's are inexpensive.
No ac. Old, run-down. Smelled musty. Not really accommodating.
Didn't have enough fans for rooms. Hot tub appeared to have slime.
Overall facility is very run down and shabby. Noise from the walkway and adjacent rooms carries into room.
The pool is empty and the hot tub wasn't available for use. Very
very budget motel if you want anything more than a place to sleeping for
you. It was clean - I think - but everything was 1960's old.
Cat urine smell in room. Worn out carpet and worn out bedding. Pillow
was like a piece of paper. Air conditioner did not work.
very poor condition-pool not open-needed repairs. everything needs repairs. lots of old furniture in plain sight outside-looked like a city dump. office not marked-very cluttered/dingy. very depressing all around.
The motel was very old. There was no water in the swimming pool and hot tub. The sheets were not fitted and in the morning I discovered I was sleeping on the mattress (a good way to be bitten by bedbugs). The smoke detector was hanging open without a battery (a lawsuit waiting to happen).
Mattresses old and hard very uncomfortable. Pillows lumpy and old. Ad
incorrect. Nothing but bad coffee in am. Hot tub between building always
covered inconvenient to try to use.
Everything.
uneven steps. animals scattered garbage not picked up at night,
maintenance on outside was none existent, pillows very bad.
Plumbing leak, no tv remote in room, electric outlets didn't work for blow dryer/curling iron, out of coffee pacts for room. Not a working hot tub, nasty pool area.
we were overall disappointed in this hotel, and would not stay here or recommend this hotel.
Very old, not well maintained, your add said pool...no water in pool, no
lounge. It looked like your 1960 vintage motel.
