Good location for city center and close enough that we could walk (but a long walk) to the Lavra and other sites overlooking the Dnipro.   I like the location and the view from the 12th floor. I like the friendliness of the Receptionists like Mrs. Ilona was so helpful, efficient and courteous. So was the staff in the restaurant on the 2nd. floor. Nice life piano for breakfast and dinner. - The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. They all spoke English.   I had a great time at the hotel and can warmly recommend it to anyone. The staff was very friendly and good value for money. I read that people complained about this hotel but I have stayed half of my life in 5 star hotels but in my opinion this hotel offers all you need to stasy for a very good priv´ce and has an excellent location. Hotel is a bit "soviet" but renovated some 10 years ago and looks very acceptable taking in consideration high prices for hotels in center of Kiev. Try it instead of rental apartments and in most of cases you will be pleasantly surprised.

  Stayed there for one night. Hotel is fresh, clean, location is perfect, staff polite with good english. Breakfest was good with quite wide choise of everything. Have stayed in many hotels in Kiev for last few years and for value for money this is good...no need to to pay triple and stay in Premier. What else...on opposite side of street a bit closer to Hreschatik is nice orthodox church with beautiful morning chantings, also parks around. - The best thing about Ibis kiev is a great location. It's located in the center of Kiev, in the 15-minutes walk from the main street of Kiev - Kreshatik. The staff is friendly,ready to solve your problems in 15 minutes. Very nice cleaners. I booked the standart room - it was small, but comfortable. Very clean bathroom. Only 2 russian's channels.

  I've stayed in several hotels while visting Ukraine, and this one was probably the best one!! The room was so big that I could have held a party in it! Within walking distance of Rodina Mat and other attractions. Also there is a supermarket very close by.
