Well Placed within the town, Good parking area, Evening meal was very good with a nice size portion,. It was in a great location right by the sea and very near the shops. The buffet breakfast was very good. The room was nice and clean. friendly nice atmosphere and clean. Very hot shower; comfortable beds; good heaters. Centrally located, good substanial brekfast. the food there was always plenty at breakfast and the evening meals which were nbt included where reasonable rates and enjoyable varied menu. Good hotel for the price, clean and local.Helpfull staff and a good easy to access location.Breakfast was adequate and good off road oparking. it was local for my needs. Went shopping in Weston, and a nice walk along the front. Central location, good breakfast. It was only a short walk to the beach and town centre and there was a fair size car park at the rear ,breakfast was buffet style and plenty of it. When we arrived at the hotel the service was excellent professional and the rooms were more than adequate for our needs until .......Convenient to where we needed to go, on site parking avail as hotel was quiet. Most of the staff were friendly. Close to town (5 minute walk). We were right by the entrance so we were awake most of the night-Early morning. We had no heating. The shower was poor quality. No clean towels.Late breakfast ie:09:15 one day.I liked the use of the extention lead to work appliances in the room-Very Health and Safety concience.Location. Liked everything.Double bed was a bit too low. One room was quite cold in the night although to be fair it was one of the coldest nights of the year. Only problem being the time they started breakfast which was 9.00am until 10.00am, for a business person this was far to late. The curtains were quite thin, and the toilet leaked slgihtly from the bottom. The bathroom was very very small but functional. there was notning we didnt like except there was no heating in the room we did have a small electric heater but central heating would have been better as it was november. Room decor - shabby. Room was in need of redecoration and needed afew minor repairs. No soap in the room. General furnishings and fabric- looking tired. Our en-suite double room was quite small, especially the en-suite,the hotel was busy during our stay, and very noisy with other guests going past our room to get to theirs, you could hear everything. In the morning there was hardly any food the chef argued with other customers vocally in front of everyone in the restaurant, the Barmaid who I believe was also the cleaner was blind drunk she fell though a rack of pint glasses never took any money for drinks. When we asked to be refunded for the lack of food the chef said no He seemed under alot of pressure but should have been more professional.Room was very cold upon our arrival, no double glazing, holes in walls where wall lights had been removed so not the most attractive of rooms. Would not recommend during winter months if you feel the cold as heating very poor. Would be nice in the summer as close to the sea front. Workers were working on the hotel until 1:30 in the morning, so did not get a lot of sleep.Poor quality bathroom and room facilities, smelly stairways,. I was initially shown to a room that was heated by a very noisey fan heater and once I turned the fan heater off it became cold almost immediately. There was also no soap or shower gel. I was surprised to be informed that this was normal in BandB's (the soap/shower gel) and then challenged when I said it was not. I was moved to another room as I said I was not prepared to stay with the fan heater. All above-Its an ideal venue for working contractors to stay while in the area.I would not recommend it for familys or couples. The bathrooms were disgusting. Had to use the toilet down in the barbefore going to bed and went back to use it the following morning! Couldnot shower as I didnt wish to come into contact with the mould. Bedroomsvery outdated. In the room made a coffee to discover the milk portionwas off. At breakfast there were also quite a few bar flies, indicatingnon cleanliness.
