Booking our stay with you could not have been easier, I would like to thank all of the staff for making our stay welcoming. We have been away from the area for over 10 year and will be re locating back to southampton. My husband still works away hence me booking a weekend for us to spend some time together and our stay with you was delightful.
The food was superb and the facilities wonderful.
We will be staying with you again in the future, but it will only be for weekends as we both work full . tous commentaires »
The Room we had was really nice and clean and the breakfast was really value for money. The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble one staff member offered to look something up on the internet for us. If ever we are in the area we will not go anywhere else but the Navigator.
Very nice smart pub, plenty of room, with restaurant area nicely positioned away from the bar area however not completely secluded. Lovely large double bed, once again all the fittings in the bedroom apeared nearly new with attractive design. Continental breakfast was very good too.
I liked the location as it was near my boat.
I stayed here before the new owners bought it and can say they have done a good job of upgrading the facilities. It is an old English Pub with improvements.
Location - well placed between Southampton and Portsmouth, on the River Hamble across the road from Moodys boat yard. Enthusiastic and informative owner/manager. Good pub forms part of the hotel.
Very friendly staff with efficient service. Room clean and quiet. Enjoyed good meal in the restaurant on arrival.
Great location for isle of wight ferry which we needed the following morning.

The hotel was perfect and very state of the art. I was on a business trip and could not have asked for better.

It was clean comfortable and near where we wanted to spend the next day.
When I said we wanted to cancel the reservation for the next evening because of the terrible night we had had, the staff were understanding and didn't charge us for the next night.
Liked the layout and decor of bar and restaurant with a warming open fire and there is a nice outside decking area facing boat yard which will be great in the summer. Staff were friendly and food was excellent.
Location for my visit
Staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming
Has been renovated to a high standard.
There was nothing to dislike.
The shower/lavatory room in the bedroom was small. The sink was tiny, with the single faucet positioned slap bang in the in the middle, so I could not wash my hands, face, or shave without splashing water onto the floor. The water pressure in the shower was poor hence I had to hop around to get wet, and then more dancing to get rinsed off. The free shampoo was very poor quality, mind you it was free, I'll take my own shampoo and soap next time.
Maybe needed to be a bit more of a lively atmosphere at breakfast - but it was Monday morning!.
No sky sports but not a big moan, oh and the manic street preachers on loop was annoying after the third playing of their greatest hits!!.
Bedroom was very warm even with heating turned off.
Nothing!!!.
room was very hot.
Cold water in bathroom.
My room (5) overlooked A27 and subject totraffic noise
No telephone in room
very small shower room.
N/A.
Shame there were no baths. Room 3 is by the extraction which means we
kept the window shut. As hotel general managers we suggested to the
receptionist that a floorstanding fan may benefit that room as it has
the space for it and would benefit the comfort of future guests. We were
brushed off and told it was harder to source a fan for a hotel! We
don't believe the message will reach the manager and it was not a
complaint, just some feedback. Shame as it slightly soured our
experience.
there was nothing not to like.
No major negatives.
not enough storage for clothes.
The wall are paper thin and noise from other rooms were really load. Had seen this comment before but did not realise it would be that bad. No sleep for 3 nights. For that reason would not stay there again.
nothing not to like really, the breakfeast was fab.
Can be a little noisy as my 'cabin' above the bar.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Very noisy as I was close to the bar and could hear music and customers which did disturb sleep.
We had the front room overlooking the boat yard very nice, unfortunately couldn't sleep to much road noise boy racers etc. Shower/toilet room to small, shower a bit hit and miss okay for one night not for a longer stay.
Extra cost for Full English breakfast. Just excuses for Fire alarm going off at 5 o'clock in the morning, no further actions or small rebate like free breakfast.
Noisy private party on site.
Food was overpriced and of poor quality.
Nothing.
Not much.
We could not sleep as the people coming to the next door cabins were very noisy and the sound insulation was not brilliant. Could not sleep until after 2.30 am although we were very tired. We had an early start next day so felt frazzled!.
Rooms in outside block a bit like a motel feeling and a little noisy as you can hear everything that goes on in adjoining rooms. They also need some refurbishment but not major work.
Bed was old and uncomfortable.
Noisy, near busy road (but I expected that so not fair to criticise)
£8.00 for a glass of wine!
No bedside lamp so you have to turn light off before getting in to bed.
Breakfast could be served a little later for those not on business.
