Really good value for money. A good night's sleep. Great to be so near the park.
The room lighting was very cosy and comforting - created a lovely atmosphere. The room was clean and well maintained. The shower/bath was good with nice toiletries and plenty of towels. Good tea/coffee making facilities. Very comfortable beds. My mum had the double bed and I had the single, which was ideal. Excellent temperature regulating system and we could make the room as warm/cool as we liked. Quiet location. We were very pleased with our choice and will book again!

very nice hotel, great location as it is very close to the underground transport system and minutes from Hyde Park which is beautiful. Friendly helpful staff and the hotel is spotless. didn't eat in the hotel other than a sandwich at the bar which was fine. would recommend hotel

Could do with a larger breakfast area, if you arrive between 8.45 and 9.30am you have to queue for 15 minutes for a table.
Staff were very pleasant and welcoming but efficient. Public rooms were very nicely furnished with a cordial atmosphere. Good sized bedroom and reasonable size bathroom.

the location was great, quiet place with only couple of minutes walk to subway both ways. Close to bars, shops and you can even walk to oxford street or hyde park which is on the other side of the road. Nice and clean room and nice bar and receptionarea :)

We visit London on a regular basis and for a three star hotel Lancaster Gate comes up tops. The rooms, the facilities, the staff and the breakfast was all and more one could ask for. We will definitely use the hotel again nor would we be averse to recommending it to our friends. Thank you for a comfortable stay. We consider it an excellent choice.
Possibly a trifle out of town but worth it for the position, it's quiet location, a stones throw from Hyde Park.
location-a quiet street off Bayswater Road- and a wonderful bracing walk all the way to Westminster across the royal parks

I had a room in the basement where you can hear the underground metro. So ask a room upstairs.

breakfast poor. bar atmosphere poor. bar manager had me sign for drinks as i had them, instead of waiting untill i was ready to leave the bar, so no tip for him.

The internet was free for checking in but I wasn't told this, which meant that I had to pay to do this. We also had to pay to leave our bags at reception on the day we checked out, which is not standard.

Room was comfortable and roomy, staff was always helpful, and the breakfast enjoyable. We stayed the full two weeks that we had planned, with no thought of leaving early. We love London.
The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. Close to the centre, close to the tranquil setting of Hyde Park and close to the tube stop. It was a little bit if simple luxury in a busy city.

We were very happy with our three night stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel and highly recommend it. The location is superb on a quiet street only a block from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. We had learned that there is variation in room sizes, but we were very happy with our spacious room and bath. People have commented on the expensive breakfast, but we were pleased to learn that the hotel offers three choices in the morning: a continental, a "light", and the full English breakfast. We enjoyed the very nice "light breakfast" with cold items only, such as cereal, yogurt, fruit, rolls, cheese and meats at a lower rate than the full English. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful and we especially commend Sylvia, Luigi and Andrew. The Leinster Arms Pub is just around the corner and we enjoyed two lunches and three dinners there, very happy with the food, atmosphere and delightful staff.

The staff was friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about the area. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Maid service was excellent, with fresh linens every day. The dining room was well-staffed with a great assortment of hot and cold breakfast choices. The location was safe and convenient, halfway between two tube stations. I would definitely stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel again.

Great value we booked with a 40% discount. Clean simple rooms minutes walk from Hyde Park and 200m from Lancaster Gate tube. Lovely, friendly front of house staff, very accomodating us with a late check out - paid extra to 4.30pm. Good, tasty value breakfast.
You can hear noise i.e footsteps from other rooms although expected from an older building. No fridge and windows could do with a wash
