The Watermill Hotel - Photos
Ce que les gens disent
Very spacious room. Tranquil setting. Friendly staff. Pleasant stay. Good value for money. the quietness. Easy stay - efficient, no problems, convenient location, some interest in the hotel (it's build around the old mill race). LetsBookHotel.com rate was really excellent - much better than the hotel's own rate.visited girlfriend. Just fine, especially for an English hotel, I must say.
Very good beds, no noise, even though the river below the "mill" is "roaring".

Quaint location, good access to public transportation, nice rooms. Room was clean and warm and staf friendly.Beatiful surroundings, nice walks along the canal. Clean comfortable rooms, nice location. The value for money was very good. The situation. The spacious room. Location I.E. proximity to Hemel Hempstead, train station etc, parking, nice grounds and view, decent selection of tv channels, comfortable bed, nice toiletries, good shower, clean room.B'fast and garden. Very convenient. There is a great pub across the road, which was a god send, as the hotel did not have any food. Since there are no restaurants in the area, a continental breakfast should be complimentary.Batrooms need refurbishing. The room however was dated - but very clean and functional. The staff when we arrived were not particularly friendly and did not deal with the power cut very well in that we were left for an hour with no idea as to what was going on and when we would be able to check in. The staff were very slow to attend at the reception desk, and at the bar. Not very friendly either. Decor, particularly the wallpaper, a bit drab. Made an otherwise decentroom look dreary. If a double room is booked for 2 people, there shouldbe two bath towels! Nearly over-charged for room until I producedprintout of online booking. Had to get from car! Not professional. Isn'ta bad hotel, but I've had better at considerably lower price. Clea. Bathroom towel radiator too close to WC. Easy to burn leg.Limited control of heating. Room was very warm at night. The effect of the noise of the waterfall/weir made it sound as if you are trying to sleep next to a jet engine at full blast. We did not sleep very well the first night, we complained, booked out early, but still had to pay for two nights. Very bad policy, as we will not use your hotels again. The bed leg was broken and the bed was very uncomfortable. Hotel was very tired and shabby. Rooms were situated on an open corridor with no security form general public. maid came waltzing in at 8.15 despite do not disturb notice on door. considering cost of room a Travel Lodge would have been better!. Rooms are old and beds small and uncomfortable. Hotel advised when we arrived they only had continental breakfast available.... but did not tell us it was only cereal......... a bit expensive at £6.50 each!!!.
