Ce que les gens disent
This is a very friendly hostel. I stayed there for one night while on a cycling holiday and was given a very warm welcome.
The hostel itself feels very remote as it's tucked away down a long track but It's only 6 or 7 miles from the Eden Project (nice bike routes to get there too!) and there's plenty of other things to see in the area.
The building is old and some lovely features have been preserved. Sitting in the living room you feel like you're in a stately home. tous commentaires »
everything about it,. the house, staff, food and my partners face when he saw the bunk beds he had never slept in one before. The fact that we became members during our stay speaks for its selves.
The lovely well equipped kitchen
The simplicity
The fact that I could sit and read undisturbed without being asked to leave for the day.
The surrounding woodlands
Walking into/away from Golant.
A very welcoming sight after a long walk. Comfy room, great food and a selection of Cornish Ales! What a great view over the river from the lounge and dining room. Priceless!.
The price, the location, the staff were knowledgeable and funny. Perfect for walking, we were upgraded.
Location, standard of accommodation and amenities and friendly staff.
Warm welcome and effort to provide after hours refreshments.
Value for money an very clean and friendly.
Setting, lounge, staff, breakfast.
Self catering kitchen.
Since the building is big and old I noticed it was looking a little worn in places and there were a few cobwebs here and there. Given the size and type of the building this would be difficult to avoid without spending some serious money.
The accommodation though I would probably request a room on my own next time.
Being so far away from civilisation: no shop for emergencies etc.
The breakfast was not great.
Banging fire doors.
Very rough track. Lack of 3 pin sockets.
Bit of a drag on a narrow farm track to the hostel - very bumpy road!!.
Tiny room with only one chair.
