Everything, obviously the hotels in this area are pretty old but this one was very clean and comfortable was very picturesque. The surrounding area was beautiful. The hotel was on Browness and a perfect position.
We had the best room with an alcove facing the front where we had wonderful breakfast looking out to the street.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The Royal Oak is a great English Inn, the food was excellent, accommodation comfortable and the staff were superb. I felt really at home. The location was superb and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. I will endeavour to stay there every time I visit Bowness on Windermere. Thanks for a great stay.tous commentaires »

The staff were excellent and happy to help. The food was good. Room was very clean and spacious. Ideally situated for shops and the lake.

The hotel was in an ideal spot, the staff were friendly. As we booked a more expensive room we got breakfast brought up to our room.
