Few of the staff did speak basic English. Room had ac but does not go
lower than 22c. very great shower inside of a clean bathroom. Wi-fi was
ok (not perfect) inside the room, but signal was not so good in the
higher levels of the hotel. -

I chose this guesthouse because of the beautiful flowers in the photos and the fact that it is connected to a women's cooperative. I couldn't have made a better choice. I was in Mardin to consider the possibility of pursuing dissertation research related to the local linguistic situation. One of the best deals I have come across in all my years traveling across Turkey. Not only in terms of price, but the customer service. Hotel is owner-managed & they go to great lengths to help me with information, transport etc. Language was not a barrier as they have Google Translate on all the time. Great wifi too - better than in Istanbul
