Cosy hotel with super friendly personal. Very helpful and really professional. We had a street view 403. Although the streets were very busy and noisy, you could close the windows and it was very quiet. Cenrally located, walking distance from the port and lots of restaurants. I likes the clean bathrooms and toilets, sheets and the friendly staff who went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. Especially Memet, Nayeeb and all the other reception and even security people who were always smily and friendly.

The suite is a small apartment with a small kitchen opened on the living room.
Much better than a classic hotel room if you intend to spend time in your room.
Location is right on Taksim place, in front of Gezi park and Divan hotel. The downside is that it is a bit noisy with ongoing roadworks and traffic at this time. -

Konak Hotel is the best - We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in

Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

I had a delightful surprise staying at the Taksim Star; very impressed by the room, soft yet crisp sheets; the bathroom was really clean, too!! They accepted our requests (we had crazy arrival and departure times) and informed us about the things to see in the city and how the transportation system worked. Location -the residence is very nice, new and clean-, position is very
nice -Taksim square but in a quiet street-, courtesy of all the staff,
room big and confortable enough , breakfast (even if it's better a
change through the days)..
