We used this as a base for exploring Ani and were pleasantly surprised
to find this hotel in excellent condition. A rarity among budget
accommodations, everything seemed new and fresh. While there was no
elevator, the staff went out of their way to help carry our luggage.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very rich especially tahin-pekmez was really cool. The hotel is in the city centre, you can walk to the castle and the main streets if Kars from here. They also arrange tours to Ani ruins, but we didn't attend this.
