This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

This hotel was fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. The
rooms are very cosy and beatifully designed if a little small. The
facilities in the room are top class and even though it is a 4 storey
building it has an elevator. We would like to thank the management staff
who were extremely polite and helpful during our stay. Furthermore the
location is perfect, it is very close to Galata tower which is in my
opinion the best location in Istanbul with small cobbled streets and
beautiful

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

Truly relaxing environment in a quiet clean town,location is perfect,as for the staff,not enough words to describe my warm feelings towards each and everyone,friendly,professional,courteous,always doing that extra touch to help,spa and gym simply great,equipment and staff,gourmet cuisine,first time I shake hands with everyone on front desk reception and concierge at departure,will definitely repeat it...so much more to say and tell

The appartment is located in an old house near the Galata tower. Numerous small restaurants, galleries, and shops are in the neighbourhood. After climbing to the fifth floor (no elevator) a marvelous view on Bosporus and Golden Horn can be enjoyed.
