The breakfast is on time. The charge is economical.
There was no wifi in the room. The noises at mid-night were badly received in the basement room. The stairs in the passage were broken.
everything ;)
nothing
The staff here make the place what it is. They are all amazing and hilarious and work super hard to make your stay comfortable. The hostel is also a hotel and restaurant and bar and sheisha bar and the food is delicious and not too expensive. If you are a musician then they have guitars. a violin, bongos, tambourine and another crazy turkish instrument which I don't know the name of. Best hostel iv stayed in and Iv stayed in many many hostels!
Nothing really. The other people staying in my room were a bit anti social but thats istanbul really. Not everyone speaks good english and is willing to chat.

weather
Amazing staff, and well worth the price. I arrived before check-in time and was given free breakfast with the staff. Very friendly and helpful, and for the price, nothing to complain about. The location is perfect, as it is walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. There are also plenty of great restaurants on the street where this hostel is located (and in fact, the hostel itself has a restaurant). Definitely enhanced my trip to Istanbul and I would highly recommend this hostel.
Near of sultan ahmed area
Good things: Staff: very friendly and easygoing; Location: 3 mins walk from Hagia Sophia and one of the Istanbul's historical centres; Price: at least compared to other offers at that moment, this was the most affordable. Hostel design: informal yet solid, decent furniture; Free WiFi
Hot water sometimes wasn't; WiFi signal was poor, every now and then lost connection; _Quite_ loud in evenings as rooms are right in the middle of a hostel/pub street. No room cleaning during the 7 days of stay, not sure how often this is supposed to happen in hostels, but the towels and trashcan sure could use a replacement during the week.
Wonderful location, friendly staff
A quite noisy
The hostel's location is just perfect: the most important monuments are just a few meters away! We slept there only one night and it was ok, considering the good price! Very friendly staff!
The room was quite small and not very clean. The bathroom was cold because of two small windows which were impossible to close.
I've really enjoied my stay in the new back packers. The ubication was perfect, 5 minuts walking to the most famous monuments. The room was clean and well desing. The personal from the Hotel was very nice to us at any time and they made us feel like home. They were so nice to us that preparated a sorpres birthday party for my friend. I absolutly recommend this hotel in Istanbul.
1. The best location in Istanbul. 5 minutes to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi. Very close to tram, metro and sea transport. 2. Beautiful street. 3. It's noisy only 11 pm - 2 am. At all other times it is a very quite place. 4. Nice people.
1. Insects in the room (cockroaches). 2. You may be enforced to drink free tea for marketing of the cafe :D It is not obligatory but you should do it if you live here a long time and don't want to offend local emloyees. 3. Room 36 is the worst: close to public toilets and kitchen. Try to avoid living in this suit.
I liked location of hotel and stuff is very friendly.
Most of all i liked the location- just 2 minutes away from Hagia Sofia and the most remakable landmarks on Sultanahmet. The staff was helpful and friendly.
I didn't like breakfasts at all. They were poor wihtout a variety of food. Once we had judst soup fro breakfast, another day- just youghurt. it was not enough. We never saw our room clean. Nobody dusted and vacuumed it at all.
Near the old city.
Very noisy at night.
