It is a Luxury 5 Star Hotel but there is no Beach, I would have trouble finding a back packer... It is close to the shops, and although I did not get a chance to experience the Spa/Relaxation faciitiees I have no doubt they would be up to par - Show me nature and wild life in that region of yhe city and I will be impressed....

The hotel has a nice location. İt is newly refurbished. Has a wonderful pool. Service is very efficient. But the bedt thing about the hotel is Jorge. The General Manager. İ believe he is one of the best in the sector. He can literally spend hours and hours with all customers to make their stay in Bangkok pleasent. Take his advises. -

Excellent rooms, spotlessly clean.
Friendly and professional staff with a good level of English for those who require it.
Free use of gym and swimming pool is a nice plus and the breakfasts are fantastic.
One slight criticism is that in the information book in the rooms it says they offer a courier service and to contact their business department.

The Service was Splendid and the room was luxurious big and clean and well-maintained for Bangkok Standards. It is just 1 stop away from Siam BTS station, Ratchethewi BTS station is just next to the hotel, 1 min walk away. I stayed in a Grand Deluxe Suite that was 70+ Sqm big. All the staffs were friendly but not over-friendly, they know when to let you have some personal space, which is super good for us. A boutique hotel with friendly staff and a great location overlooking the river. The rooms are well appointed, maintained and spotlessly cleaned; the bathroom was large and contemporary. WiFi connections were strong throughout. Breakfast was plentiful and a good standard. The hotel does not have a restaurant but they are happy to advise on external restaurants and facilitate cost effective transport.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at the Anantara in the evening and were promptly checked in
and shown our room. It took a few minutes for us honeymooners to realise
we had been given twin beds much to our dismay, guest services offered

Good gym with group classes like step/yoga/stretching.
